Question: Why doesn’t Sean Hannity reveal something new in his narrative of Clinton/FBI/Russia collusion until after news breaks on the Trump/Russia story?
Answer: Hannity doesn’t yet know of what to accuse Hillary Clinton and the FBI until after major news breaks about Trump/Russia. Once Trump/Russia news breaks, he knows what accusations to levy at Clinton.
Mr. Hannity, Donald Trump, and Devin Nunes all seem to be advancing the same thing; that the corrupt, Clinton-loving FBI led by Deep State Democrat James Comey (he’s a Republican), lied by omission in their application to the FISA court to surveil Carter Page.
The big argument for both sides hinges on the Dossier produced by Christopher Steele. If the Dossier is true, we lose a United States Presidency. If the Dossier is false, then the Republicans are right, and a Deep State in Washington needs to be drained.
I have to be completely candid, I’m not the first one in the to label what Republicans are doing in Congress right now as a mirror investigation. The term used was shadow investigation. It was done by Politico on August 4, 2017, I posted my label for it on December 7, 2017. Mine was differently worded, but the principle was the same. I’ve also heard it called a parallel probe.
I like my term better anyway. It explains more and there is a simple test to find out who is right. I postulate that Mr. Hannity, in his ‘breaking stories,’ is simply copying news that breaks in the real Russia Investigation. But I noticed something. There are rules to the mirror investigation that Hannity has to follow, even if he is not aware of them.
Mirror Investigation Rules:
When a damaging accusation is made about your chosen candidate:
- Deny, deny, deny.
- Whenever accusations come out against your preferred candidate, accuse your opponent of the same thing. Donald Trump colluded with Russia? It was actually Hillary Clinton who colluded with Russia.
- Whatever news breaks about your guy, you have to accuse your guy’s opponent of almost exactly the same thing, even if it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. The reason Mr. Hannity does this is twofold: (a) he doesn’t know what is going to happen next in the Mueller Investigation, ergo he doesn’t know what’s going to happen in his mirror investigation, and (b) when news comes out about Trump/Russia, they can use that same news to tie to Hillary Clinton.
The thing about a mirror investigation is that there is a provable test that any American can perform sitting in their living room today. If my theory is right, then Mr. Hannity will not report new news on his counter-narrative until something breaks on the Trump/Russia front.
Right now, when Sean Hannity reports on Hillary Clinton, it is never, and I mean never, current. He gets ‘breaking news’ and ‘revelations’ about the past. “New information tonight…” usually means a Fox Commentator has some idea about how the FBI went easy on Hillary Clinton and her email investigation.
Is anyone in government listening? Sean Hannity wants to re-investigate Hillary Clinton, and he says this time, put a Republican in charge. Oops… A Republican was in charge the first time she was investigated (James Comey).
Well, the way Sean Hannity is hurling insults at Robert Mueller, surely Mueller is a democrat…wahh wahhhh.
Starting right now, just to pay attention to when accusations are made. You’ll find out which came first, the chicken or the Hannity.
