Yes, I am biased toward democrats
But Republicans still need to read my articles to refute them in the comments section
Sean Hannity regularly accuses former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton of corruption, such as funding the controversial Dossier that accuses Donald Trump and his campaign of colluding with the Russian government to influence the results of the 2016 U.S. presidential Campaign.
He also regularly accuses ex-FBI Director James Comey of letting Hillary Clinton off easy in the FBI’s criminal nvestigation of her use of a private server to send classified emails.
One of Mr. Hannity’s arguments is that Comey indeed changed the results of the investigation with Hannity’s line: “exoneration before investigation.”
Mr. Hannity uses that line to suggest that FBI Director James Comey and FBI agent Peter Strzok wrote an exoneration letter about Hillary Clinton a month before the investigation was complete; namely, the letter was written before Hillary Clinton herself was interviewed.
If Hannity’s accusation were true, it would be hard evidence of FBI misconduct. Why would a law enforcement officer write an exoneration letter before completing their investigation? I did a little digging to see if Mr. Hannity’s argument holds water.
Can I just say this now? Hillary Clinton is innocent. She is innocent of what she is being accused of by Donald Trump, Sean Hannity, and others at Fox News and Breitbart.com.
They have verbally maligned Mrs. Clinton, smearing her name all over the TV screen on a nightly basis to cover over breaking news about the Trump/Russia investigation.
I honestly don’t know if she destroyed computers and bleached hard drives to conceal the fact that she used a personal sever to send sensitive information to her aides. She may have, I don’t know.
If anyone can post me a document or link in the comments of this article that gives a definitive answer for what Hillary Clinton did do, please do.
If Hillary Clinton did act as Mr. Hannity accuses her of acting, she needs to be re-investigated, because the FBI ran a sham investigation, knowing the ‘fix was in’ to exonerate Hillary Clinton before the investigation was complete.
One of Sean Hannity’s preferred accusations about the FBI and Hillary Clinton is that James Comey and his agents never really investigated Hillary Clinton for using an unsecured server on a laptop that had confidential U.S. government information on the hard drive.
Hannity then goes on to accuse James Comey and Peter Strzok of writing Hillary’s exoneration letter a month before the FBI actually interviewed Mrs. Clinton:
* The rest of the article is what I found out about Sean Hannity’s accusation that James Comey apparently wrote Hillary Clinton’s exoneration letter before the investigation was concluded. *
1. Mr. Hannity’s quote is factually wrong because the FBI’s investigation into Hillary Clinton didn’t happen in July, it was an ongoing investigation that began months earlier. I think Mr. Hannity is referring to when the investigation ended. Hillary Clinton was interviewed July 2, 2018, and the exoneration letter (or should I say draft) was written in May.
It was a statement read on July 5, 2016, by James Comey, the FBI Director at the time. The letter, or statement, was a public update on the FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton’s misuse of private email servers. Mr. Comey revealed that the FBI’s investigation had not yielded any evidence of wrongdoing up to that point when it was announced in early January. However, the investigation was not yet complete.
Next, the original email that the Clinton exoneration document was attached to had a certain word in it: draft. I had seen the word draft somewhere before…oh yeah it was printed across the original document cited by Hannity. To repeat Mr. Hannity’s question from earlier, but in a rational way:
Is it normal for FBI directors to draft a letter confirming that they have found no evidence yet in an ongoing investigation?
Phrased that way, Sean Hannity’s question doesn’t seem so threatening anymore.
3. Hillary Clinton is no longer relevant. The accusations Hannity tosses her way are years old, from 2013. But that’s the thing. No one has ever seen anything like the Russian Investigation. Ever. Republicans are left back on their heels scrambling for a competing narrative every time Robert Mueller drops a surprise indictment.
Trump needs a scapegoat. Hannity needs a distraction. Hillary Clinton, however left public life after she lost the election.
