The Fox Hawk’s Guide to Civil Disobedience

Congresswoman Maxine Waters is an American hero. Auntie Maxine was right to call Americans to action against the Trump Administration and anyone who is complicit in Trump’s ‘zero tolerance’ policy of tearing away children from parents.

Let’s be clear: ripping children out of the arms of their parents and then detaining the parents and children separately for months is a VIOLENT act. The effects of separation on these children will be severe for their whole life. And people on the right have the gall to call out Democrats for being ‘uncivil?’ Really? Really?

Are you kidding me? Now is the time to act. Donald Trump has carried out a secret operation for over a year now of taking kids from their parents. Ignore Republicans who chastise those on the left like Maxine Waters who had the iron cohones to finally and at long last call it like she saw it. And shame on Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi for calling on Ms. Waters to apologize. She has nothing to apologize for.

Auntie Maxine was elected to represent her constituents, and by voicing the disgust we all feel right now that Americans are responsible for separating kids and parents, she did just that. Maxine Waters said what we all were thinking, and I’m sorry I’ve waited until now to fully back her.

We should be shaming Trump Administration officials at every corner we encounter them. Fox News show hosts should be afraid to leave their houses for the way they have endorsed Trump’s policy on child separation. These people are social pariahs who have no right to pretend that protest against family separation is ‘ucivil.’ Bullshit.

These rich white Republicans have obviously never felt uncomfortable in their lives, and now that they are, they are trying to re-frame the argument as if we were targeting conservative women and their children. Really? Targeting American women and children is wrong, huh? But if it is a foreigner looking to escape violence, it’s ok?

Many Democrats think that his collusion with Russia should be the thing that impeaches Trump. To me, the families being separated is a much stronger case for impeachment.

As my readers know, I watch a lot of Fox. I am ceasing to call it ‘Fox News’ because that is giving them too much credit. I watched an episode of Hannity the other night. Hannity must have been on vacation for the 4th of July, because Judge Jeanine Pirro was filling in. She hosted a panel with Michelle Malkin and Pam Bondi where they told Democrats to ‘stop it’ with their public shaming of Trump officials, because ‘someone is going to get hurt.’ Thousands have already been hurt. Besides, doesn’t Fox know that Democrats don’t watch Hannity? So who were they talking to?

Anyway, I encourage all patriotic Americans to not let this issue be conflated by Republicans, framed as an argument in ‘civility.’ We are about three months past civility. Because they are rich and white, Republicans want to control the narrative. DO NOT LET THEM. They are wrong. And they are liars. And they don’t like being uncomfortable. Ignore Republican calls for civility. The Republican President is the poster child for bullying, lying, and crassness that is the complete opposite of civil.

So, in the spirit of civil disobedience, The Fox Hawk is publishing a guide to civil disobedience for the purpose of shaming rich white people and to let them know that they no longer control the narrative.

Rules for civil disobedience:

  1. No violence. Not even threats. We will not sink as low as Republicans who, by tearing immigrant children from their parents, are committing a violent act en masse.
  2. Don’t involve administration officials’ children. Again, we will not debase ourselves by doing the same thing Donald Trump is doing to migrant children.

Other than that, have at it. Be creative. Remember, public shaming doesn’t have to be violent, it can just be really, really uncomfortable.

This blog is for revealing the mistruths and contradictions coming out of Fox News in this hyperpartisan political environment. The way things are working out, Fox's narrative about The Russian Investigation, Roy Moore, Isreal's Capitol, and Donald Trump's accusers of sexual harassment is forcing America to choose. The two camps are mutually exclusive. Either you believe what Fox News is reporting, or you believe the MSM, or mainstream media (CNN, MSNBC). I want to expose the lies of comission, omission and twisting of truth Fox News regularly exhibits in their news reporting. Obviously I am biased. Everything in this blog is my opinion, cited by sources, which will mainly be Fox's reporter's own words.
